Inspired by the incredible windows of Sacre Coeur and enthralled by the striking grain in Zebra wood, this piece was woven with two graduated widths of cane on a Zebra wood pedestal base, expertly crafted by Mr. Bobby Williams, Williams Family Mill.  The doubled rim with smoked round reed accents features two rows of decorative stitches and completes this original piece with a flourish.  
Zebra wood is known for its striped grain in dark brown to black.  It is sought after for its tonal qualities for guitars and widely used throughout the world for fine cabinetry, carvings and sunglasses.
