Woven with a natural dye blend of beet root, blackberry and blueberry, Water Lily was created with three graduated sizes of reed at the base in a Japanese diamond weave and progressed into a continuous weave with the thinnest round reed on a sculptural base of Cherry.  
Water lily blossoms are brought to mind in the curving round reed petals at the rim while leaves are depicted with the soft green reed of dyed Queen Anne's Lace.
